Programme overview

A foundation for
using Spanish.

The Spanish programme follows an A1–A2–B1 progression, bringing vocabulary and grammar into practical communication from the beginning. Pronunciation and listening develop alongside reading and written expression.

In both online and onsite classes, tasks move from short questions and answers to descriptions, narratives and discussions. Verb forms are introduced as tools for saying what happens, what happened and what you intend to do.

Spanish is used across many countries and communities. Learning includes awareness of common variation without presenting a single national variety as the whole language.

Who this programme is for
Beginners and continuing learners preparing for everyday communication, study or work in Spanish-speaking settings.

A1, A2 and B1 refer to CEFR course levels. DELE diplomas are awarded through Instituto Cervantes examinations, independently of Europa enrolment. The programme does not promise a particular exam result.
