Programme overview

A foundation for
using Chinese.

Europa’s Chinese programme teaches Mandarin. It starts with pinyin and tones, then introduces character recognition alongside practical vocabulary and sentence patterns. Sound and meaning are practised together from the beginning.

The sequence uses HSK 1, HSK 2 and HSK 3 as learning targets while developing speaking, listening, reading and writing in online and onsite classes. Students gradually move from short expressions to more connected exchanges and texts.

HSK syllabuses and test arrangements are in transition. Exact vocabulary scope, materials and any examination-specific preparation will be confirmed with the relevant intake and current official test specification.

Who this programme is for
New and continuing Mandarin learners who want a structured foundation in pronunciation, characters and everyday communication.

HSK uses its own numbered levels and is undergoing a syllabus transition. Europa’s HSK 1–3 titles are not claims of CEFR equivalence. Confirm the applicable syllabus and accepted test result with the examination provider or receiving institution.
